We're looking for an experienced software development engineer with a track record of delivering large scale services and is passionate about building innovative systems to support our games.

Key job responsibilities:

Development and implementation of core gameplay mechanics and features in collaboration with designersDevelopment and implementation of prototypes and AI behaviorsCreation and optimization of combat systems, player controls, and game physicsIntegration of gameplay systems with backend services and game enginesCollaboration with artists, animators and UI teams to implement visual effects, character animations and intuitive player interfacesEnsure smooth gameplay experiences on different hardware configurationsWriting of performant code, debugging of complex gameplay issues and code reviewsMentoring junior developers and providing technical guidanceDocument code and featuresWork with the team to improve production processes and enforce best practices BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
- Experience leading the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
- Experience in professional, non-internship software development
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
- Game Development experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
