You will work on installing and troubleshooting the infrastructure that supports the AWS cloud.
You will also be responsible to work with logistics and other teams to maintain daily operations.
There is never a dull moment as each day presents itself with different challenges.
Key job responsibilitiesInstall and configure racks of hosts in line with internal SLAs.Diagnose and repair issues for server, storage and network devices, including the physical replacement of parts.Remediation or recovery of physical power issues on racks and participate in Data Center power & cooling events.Shift work (4 days on and 4 days off including night shifts on a rotational basis).This position also has a physical component requiring the ability to lift & rack equipment using our lifting equipment.Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and their own vehicle to travel between sites.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS1+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.1+ years of computer networking experience.High school or equivalent diploma.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
