As a result, our people get to enjoy working on some of the most exciting projects in the world.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities Working alongside project delivery teams as part of the Data and Project Analyst Team or independently with reach back support to experienced analytics & reporting professionals, responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:Responsible for managing the collection, cleaning, and validating of data from various internal and external sources.Development, analysis and maintenance of corporate datasets.Working with other Project Controls disciplines to ensure alignment of project information.Provide guidance and advice on data quality issues to a wide variety of data providers.Carry out variance and trend analytics on corporate datasets with written findings and performance narrative.Creation and maintenance of project performance reports and dashboards.Preparing presentations and other materials for client performance governance forums.Challenging the data to ensure it is realistic, robust and stands up to scrutiny.Provide performance observations to relevant stakeholders and management, to support effective decision making.Perform detailed data analysis and generate analytical insights.Create and maintain dashboards and reports to present data in an understandable format.Collaborate with the Data and Project Analyst Team Lead to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.Identify, analyse and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.Contribute to the development of clear and concise public and internal reports/presentations etc.
to inform various stakeholders.Ensure thorough use of systems to monitor, manage and ensure the highest level of project delivery.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Analytics or Computer Science.3-5 years professional experience working as a Data/BI Analyst in a similar roleAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including use of VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP and other functions such as INDEX/MATCH)Experience using Power BI or other Data Analytics tools to create and maintain interrogatable dashboards.Strong SQL skills and experience working with data from multiple sourcesAbility to forge effective relationships with stakeholders and interfacing functions.Strong communicator (both written and verbal) to liaise with the client, contractors and other relevant industry partners.Understanding of data warehousing, data architecture and data models is desirable.Additional InformationWhat we offer:Full time, permanentCompetitive remuneration and attractive range of benefitsPensionAnnual leave & Car allwoance Opportunity to work on impactful and innovative projectsCareer development opportunities both in Ireland and globallyOpportunity to work with a diverse group of talented and collaborative colleaguesOur inspired people share our vision and mission.
