Responsibilities: Managing a diverse caseload of litigation matters from inception to resolution.
Providing legal advice and guidance to clients on litigation matters.
Conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, and preparing court documents.
Attending court for applications, hearings, and conducting negotiations on behalf of clients.
Staying informed about legal changes and industry trends.
Qualifications: To be considered for this role, you should have:
Qualified Solicitor status with experience in defence litigation.
Excellent litigation and case management skills.
Strong research, analytical, and drafting abilities.
Effective communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Required skills: Demonstrated experience in handling defence litigation cases independently.
Experience with handling litigation cases across all jurisdictions.
Experience of advising on quantum and legal costs.
A commitment to providing high-quality legal services and client satisfaction.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Knowledge of relevant law, practice, and procedure relating to defence litigation.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Ability to manage caseload and comply with deadlines in keeping with clients' service agreements and protocols.
