Job Title: European Sales Manager - Limerick
Department: Sales
Reports To: Managing Director, Europe
Direct Reports: Business Development Managers
Job Summary: European Sales Manager role requires 50% managerial activities (predominantly healthcare related) and 50% direct sales responsibilities, focusing on industrial, automotive and EV battery markets.
Develops and implements tactical sales execution plans for European business.
Drive and deliver top line growth of > 10%.
Lead by example through owning a number of key accounts, as well as to develop new customers.
Essential Functions: Develop key account or target account plans and overall territory plans.
Develops value added pricing for new products as developed.
Implements price increases as appropriate.
Review and manage opportunity pipeline and track closed win and closed lost metrics in (CRM).
Ensure all business development managers are oriented and trained.
Establish clear sales and contribution margin targets together with additional performance objectives that are consistent with the business plan.
Develops and implements the sales forecast which demonstrates and ensures growth consistent with the business plan.
Job Specifications: College degree in a marketing, business, scientific or engineering discipline; some technical and/or mechanical aptitude preferred.
7-10+ years of sales and/or business management experience coupled with experience in other functions preferred.
Relevant background (e.g., formulated adhesives, coatings, applications in designated business area, etc.)
advantageous.
