As part of Encore's mission to be the best fire protection company the industry has ever seen, we have recently joined forces with Life Safety Fire Protection based out of Dublin, NH.
This partnership not only allows us to expand our footprint and find top talent in the NH area, it also allows us to work with industry leaders who strive for the same level of excellence as we do.
What You Will Be Doing: Prepare fire protection design drawings using SprinkCAD with HydraCADD overlayPerform field surveys on active construction sitesAttend project management meetings (off site if necessary) to facilitate project completion in consideration of timeline and budgetDevelop 2- and 3-dimensional plans for fire alarm systemsWhat You Will Need to Do it: Working knowledge of SprinkCADAbility to read and interpret architectural & mechanical engineering drawings/blueprintsWillingness to go to construction sites and complete surveys to identify possible code issues and apply solutionsStrong desire to work in a team settingEffective communication skills both written and verbal are required3-5 years of Fire sprinkler system design experienceBasic knowledge of HydraCad a plus but not requiredAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesRequirements: Experience and/or education in the construction industry is preferred but if you don't have that, all we ask is for you to show up with a positive, "can-do" attitude, and genuine interest in learning our industryProficiency in Microsoft Office is a non-negotiable must as well as an overall aptitude for embracing new technologySelf-starter with the ability to work both independently and within a team environmentThe position requires above average attention to details, concern for the exact correctness of work, and strong commitment to tasks completed on time.Driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
