What You'll Do:
Support our buying teams with a commercial and proactive focus compliance service that ensures Primark's products are compliant with the regulatory requirements in our trading countries.

Product and Process: Under the leadership of the Head of Compliance you will deliver our compliance strategy, aligned to the quality strategy that ensures Primark is legally compliant in all trading countries and enables our future plans.
Implement agreed compliance processes in line with Primark's quality strategy.
Work with our buying teams to identify and share product risk by market with a commercial & reputational focus providing recommendations.
Support the business requirements for new markets, highlighting issues by product type and ensuring commercial and proactive solutions to mitigate risks.
Work with our QA teams globally and our global partners to develop a best practice compliance end-to-end process.
Ensure the departmental QA manuals are updated in accordance with business requirements.
Review and approve all packaging and brand manuals to ensure conformance to Product Compliance.
Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with relevant local authorities, legal teams and government organisations.
Support key internal stakeholders such as customer services, legal & retail teams in their issue management & resolution in each of our markets.
Suppliers and Service Provider: Be a representative for Compliance within Primark's supply base.
Work with key stakeholders in our sourcing and quality teams to drive supplier improvement and to ensure key suppliers deliver more value & service to Primark and are aware of compliance updates and issues.
Pro-actively make our internal stakeholders aware of any issues arising from compliance interaction with suppliers to ensure a global team approach to issue resolution.
Excellent attention to detail and an ability to analyse and interrogate high volumes of data as well as demonstrating an ability to focus on higher-level overview.
Working with Others: Experience in working in a multicultural company and supporting & leading global teams.
Be a collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, while demonstrating high levels of emotional intelligence and possess the ability to push back with professionalism.
Be highly resilient and adaptable to change, within a fast-paced environment.
