Member Experience ManagerAn Anytime Fitness Member Experience Manager (MXM) is responsible for helping all members "Make Healthy Happen." The MXM serves as a 'guidance counselor' to all members of the club, 'educator and mentor' for all training staff, and 'strategist' for owner/manager.
The MXM's ultimate role is to manage the entire club.
The position will be in charge of the entire club.
The MXM will be responsible for handling the Member Onboarding Process which includes contacting the prospect, touring the prospect, selling coaching packages, conducting the fitness consultation, determining the right combination of personnel and tools for each member, and managing the customer experience to ensure meaningful touch points for the lifetime of the member.
What we offer:Robust compensation plan which will include a base salary and unlimited sales commissions opportunitiesPTO and holiday payFuture career opportunities within multiple Anytime Fitness locationsResponsibilitiesFollow up on sales leads and build a pipeline of prospective new membersActively participate in community-sponsored events and other outside opportunities to promote the clubNetwork within the fitness industry and other outside industries to drive recognition and interest in the clubGive tours to prospective members and enrolling prospects after the tour processProvide good member service to members and prospective members and assist in resolving issues that arise.All other duties as assigned: leading 1:1, small group, and team training sessionsComplete fitness consultations for new and existing membersQualificationsCurrent CPR, AED and personal training certification(s) are required as is a current nationally recognized certification such as NASM or ACEPrevious PT experience is required in either a fitness facility or private training environmentPrevious sales experience in the fitness industryPrevious experience with fitness club management software (Club O/S, Club Ready, apps like My Fitness Pal all a plus)Desire to be in sales and willing to call prospects and market our club membership and personal trainingSuperior communication skills (verbal & written) with the ability to connect with people while motivating them to achieve their goalsPositive attitude with the ability to be coachable and adaptable to changes within the industryAbility to coach and lead others to achieve goalsEmpathy and compassion and wanting to motivate and help membersREQUIRED CERTIFICATION & EXPERIENCEAccredited Certification: ACSM, ACE, NASM, NSCA, etc.Current CPR/AEDPersonal training experience: 2+ years preferableBENEFITSCompetitive base salary ranging $40,000 - $50,000 based on experience with opportunity to earn sales commissions.Opportunity for growth & development within the company.Health Benefits - HRA for qualified employees.Paid Time OffHoliday Pay401KTuition assistance to obtain NASM Personal Training CertificationUniforms provided, fitness casual dress codeGym membershipThis is a full-time position for the experienced fitness professional who is certified, wants to coach and lead a team.
