The Role – Regional Accounting Manager This role is an integral part of the NL, BE & HQ finance team and will play a pivotal part in achieving the finance objectives and deliverables.

The primary responsibility of the Regional Accounting Manager is to manage a team of approximately 10 FTEs, complete annual reviews, set goals and objectives for team members, and provide valuable coaching.

Principal Responsibilities People Management Responsible for +/- 10 staff Complete annual reviews Set annual goals with staff Find the right balance between delegating tasks and being hands-on Coach team members based on a deep understanding of the business and relevant processes Process Improvements & Standardisation Develop a deep understanding of the business to input into standardisation of processes across P2P, O2C, and R2R functions Lead improvements focused on operational excellence in the Finance teams Ensure local GAAP stats are prepared by accountants in line with provided timelines Provide all relevant information in line with agreed timelines Manage local audits in BE, NL, HQ & Emerging markets where required Coordinate with team and third-party providers to ensure local GAAP financial statements are signed and filed as per statutory requirements Ad-hoc Take initiative and show eagerness to get involved in finance projects with broader impact Requirements – Regional Accounting Manager Qualified accountant with experience in a multinational accounting environment Fluent or Native German is preferred Experience managing or leading teams Experience of IFRS, UK/Irish GAAP and/or US GAAP beneficial Real estate accounting experience & knowledge of lease accounting concepts advantageous Understanding & working knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley Strong systems knowledge and intermediate/advanced Excel skills Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with strong attention to detail Ability to communicate effectively to a variety of audiences Ability to work as a team member Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within limited time constraints #J-18808-Ljbffr
