The Procurement Professional is responsible for driving and delivering the procurement plan and activities in the EFS category including overall Category Management, Strategic Sourcing & Stakeholder Management.
This role develops and implements Sourcing strategies, tender execution and contracting under Procurement framework, policies and procedures.
This role holds strong relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure procurement competency and continuous value delivery.
What you'll be doingResponsible for the delivery of category plans and sourcing activitiesBuild and maintain category expertise, applying best practices around sourcing approach, supplier selection, total cost of ownership and negotiation tacticsIdentify cost savings opportunities by leveraging commercial models, contractual terms and operational improvements to minimise the Total Cost of OwnershipCollaborate with business unit teams to execute and deliver category plan and sourcing activities against key metricsAdhere to procurement processes and activities with other procurement teamsCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver the business objectives and key transformational programmesDeliver cost savings through defining sourcing strategies, pricing and contract negotiations with suppliers, award recommendations to the businessManage relationships with key suppliers, negotiate commercial and contractual arrangementsWork with a team of procurement professionals to deliver brilliant outcomes for BT and our customersThe skills you'll needPrevious experience delivering within a Procurement functionResults orientated, ambitious and passionateSelf-driven mindset, ability to explore options and think strategicallyStrong communication, relationship management skills & ability to influence decision making with senior stakeholders within a matrixed environmentExperience in business partnering and supplier relationship managementDemonstrates strong continuous improvement skills that exceeds customer expectationsInterest in working in the telecoms industry, and/or construction industryBenefits10% on target bonus25 days annual leave + bank holidays and an opportunity to buy up to five more days every yearAccess to your leadership team based on siteScope and impact on what you do and the ability to shape the culture of the teamHybrid working – 3 days in the office per week - with state-of-the-art offices within Grand Canal Plaza in Dublin 2BT Sourced Pension Scheme – up to 6% BT contributionsLife Assurance from 1st day of employment – 4 x salaryHealthcare cover & permanent health insurance (income continuance)Access to excellent training tools, programmes and communities to help you connect, learn and growOpportunities for volunteering and support for fundraising initiativesHow to Apply
