The Impact You'll Make in this Role Full ownership and accountability to drive consistent achievement of OTIF (On Time in Full) & OTIFQ (On Time in Full Quality) targets.
Own and develop vendor relationships to consistently deliver on OTIF performance targets, lead continuous improvement activity to optimize the network and drive efficiencies to provide a best-in-class service to our customers.
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunity that will improve service to our customers driving operational enhancements and cost saving initiatives.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, including supply chain, procurement, commercial, quality, trade compliance and customer service teams, to ensure seamless operations and alignment of priorities.
Take full responsibility for managing the budget within your area, diligently identifying, and addressing any potential risk areas while proactively highlighting opportunity for improvement.
As a Transportation Specialist you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
Here, you will make an impact by: Lead route optimisation strategies using data analytics, cost benefit analysis to optimise the logistics network.
Establish working relationships with logistics partners including monthly business reviews (MOR) route optimisation and cost optimisation.
Continuously evaluate and optimize transportation networks, including carrier selection, modes of transportation, and distribution channels utilising cost benefit analysis to determine optimal routing and service levels.
Lead project activities related to route optimisation liaising cross functionally with sourcing, operations, regulatory, quality and legal to define project scope, plan and execution encompassing multiple, complex, and inter-related project tasks.
Own the EMEA service performance utilising data analytics, root cause determination, pareto analysis and trending to determine issues affecting service levels working with vendors and cross functionally to drive service enhancements.
Own and manage service level metrics across regions, countries, divisions, and modes of transport communicating effectively across internal customers Ensure delivery quality meets organizational standards, identifying and resolving performance issues.
Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and achieve cost savings.
Develop and execute transportation strategies that align with organizational goals and anticipate future needs.
Manage various transportation planning, policy, operations projects.
Organize, direct, and manage contract operation support functions, encompassing multiple, complex, and inter-related project tasks.
Document the routing of all materials across business units, ensuring clarity and efficiency.
Your Skills and Expertise  Bachelor's degree in business administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Proven experience in high volume organization in logistics, transportation, and distribution center management, preferably within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
Strong customer focus with a deep understanding of customer needs and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Must be able to anticipate customer requirements and proactively address issues to ensure a positive customer experience.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP), Transport Management systems, Warehouse Management systems ,and Microsoft Office Suite.
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or higher Work location: Choose 1: Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but requirement to travel to Dublin Office at least 1 day per  2 weeks) Travel: May include up to 10 percent Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
