Role : Reliability Engineer Experience : 8Yrs to 15 Yrs Location : Ireland Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer with medical experience to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our medical devices, as well as identifying and mitigating potential failures.

Key Responsibilities: Reliability Engineering: Develop and implement reliability engineering strategies to ensure the reliability and performance of medical devices.
Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA): Conduct FMEAs to identify potential failures and develop mitigation strategies.
Reliability Testing: Design and execute reliability testing protocols to validate the reliability of medical devices.
Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Perform RCAs to identify the root cause of failures and implement corrective actions.
Design for Reliability (DfR): Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design medical devices with reliability in mind.
Reliability Data Analysis: Analyze reliability data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as FDA and ISO standards.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and manufacturing, to ensure reliability and performance of medical devices.
Qualifications & Skilset: Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Advanced degree preferred.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in reliability engineering, with a focus on medical devices.
Strong understanding of reliability engineering principles and methodologies.
Experience with FMEA, reliability testing, and RCA.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements, such as FDA and ISO standards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Proficiency in reliability engineering software, such as ReliaSoft, JMP, or Minitab.
Experience with the development of medical devices, including design, testing, and validation.
Knowledge of industry standards, such as IEC 60601, ISO 13485, and FDA regulations.
Lean/Six Sigma certification, such as Green Belt or Black Belt.
Programming skills in languages, such as Python, R, or MATLAB.
