Intermediate Security Analyst (Senior Consultant)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Security Analyst to support our client in the development and deployment of their Cyber Security Standards, Policies and Procedures.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in security operations, incident response, and vulnerability management. You will also have a strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillset, with the ability to work in a team and independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with client Cyber security policies, industry regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Support internal security awareness programs by educating client team members on cybersecurity best practices.
  • Implement security improvements and mitigate risks in collaboration with the Client.
  • Maintain security documentation, prepare reports on security incidents, and contribute to security audits.
  • Develop Security Information Requirements for project design, construction, and operation.
  • Monitor security alerts, logs, and events from SIEM tools to detect potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Manage and optimize security tools such as firewalls, endpoint protection, and threat intelligence platforms.
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Assist in identifying, analyzing, and remediating vulnerabilities across networks, systems, and applications.
Requirements:
  • Experience in cybersecurity, IT security, or related roles.
  • Knowledge of security operations, incident response, and vulnerability management.
  • Familiarity with SIEM tools, firewalls, antivirus software, and endpoint security solutions.
  • Understanding of common attack vectors and basic knowledge of scripting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and independently.
