Overview We are looking for a highly experienced Enterprise Architect to join our consultancy team.
With experience in the retail franchise sector, you will partner with a prestigious global retail client to lead the architectural strategy and governance for a franchise solution.

Responsibilities Define strategic technical direction and provide technical oversight at programme level.
Establish and govern architecture practices, ensuring alignment with long-term business and technology objectives, and technical implementation.
Establish architecture review boards, governance frameworks and technology roadmaps.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, security policies and regulatory requirements.
Engage with 3rd party vendors to ensure technical alignment.
Act as a technical advisor to executive stakeholders, translating business needs into technical solutions.
Collaborate with architects and engineering teams to ensure high quality implementation and technical alignment with strategic solutions.
Qualifications BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
Certified in a relevant Enterprise Architecture framework e.g.
TOGAF.
Cloud certifications an advantage.
Essential skills Excellent client-facing skills.
People management skills - introducing and building ways in which people can learn from each other, encouraging mentoring and the transfer of knowledge by designing and delivering learning interventions.
Teamwork and emotional intelligence.
Good self-management – continuous performance is both an objective and a mindset.
Has an innovative approach – a bold thinker and doer, matching creativity with vigilance.
High value on openness and transparency.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience 10+ years of experience in an enterprise architecture or solution architecture role.
Experience in Enterprise and cloud solutions with strong understanding of systems.
Strong expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks like TOGAF.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Able to clearly and persuasively present complex information to senior stakeholders (including C-Suite), effectively influencing decisions and strategic direction.
Deep understanding of integration patterns, microservices, APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Hands-on experience with data security, compliance, and governance in a retail environment.
Strong background in third-party vendor management and contract negotiations.
Hands-on experience with Microservices, APIs and Azure/AWS advantageous.
