Senior Architectural Technician

Keenan Recruitment has been retained to recruit for a Senior Architectural Technologist, by a dynamic architect practice delivering Multi Residential Schemes and high-end one-off dwellings nationwide, including Belfast & Dublin.
The core expertise of the practice are grounded in the art and science of architecture, delivering buildings that are aesthetically pleasing, functional and energy efficient.
This is a wonderful opportunity to work on innovative designs from conception through to completion on site.
Criteria: BScHons in Architectural Technology A minimum of 5 years post qualification experience Driven & solution focused Strong knowledge of Planning & Building Regulations Auto CAD essential Revit & BIM knowledge a plus but not essential Sketch Up proficiency a plus but not necessary Experience preparing and submitting Fire Safety Certificate Applications & Disabled Access Certificates is a benefit but not a requirement The role: The successful candidate will be working across all stages of multiple residential projects from initial design through to delivery on site and final handover.
Planning: Site Analysis Sketch Design & Presentation Pre-Planning meetings Developed Design & Presentation Design & Planning Statements Planning Applications Planning Compliance reviews Building Control: Detailed design Co-ordinating with full design team including Structural, Civil & Fire Engineers Building Control Applications & liaising with BC Officials Tender drawings Assist in Contract Administration Prepare preliminary Inspection Plans Construction: Regular site inspections to check progress and compliance Ensure the contractor is fulfilling their obligations to the client Co-ordinate regular site meetings Assist in Contract Administration during Construction Snagging and final Compliance checks Co-ordinate compliance documentation and file Completion Certificates Benefits: Dynamic Practice with the opportunity to work on a variety of projects across multiple stages Growth & personal development opportunities for ambitious professionals Flexible working arrangements tailored to suit experience and personal circumstances Pension Contributions Salary £36,000 - £42,000 negotiable depending on experience.
