CLS is currently experiencing an exciting period of growth and development and is now looking for a committed and motivated Microbiology Analyst to join our team in Limerick.
Job Title:QC Microbiology Analyst
Location: Client site based in Limerick.
Responsibilities Perform microbiological testing, including water testing (Surface Water, Portable Water, Water for Injection) as per USP, EP.
Conduct Preservative Efficacy Testing of pharmaceutical products.
Carry out Environmental Monitoring of Cleanrooms.
Perform Microbial Limit Testing of products and active ingredients (Sterile and Non-Sterile - TAMC, TYMC, Absence of Specific Organisms).
Utilize LIMS systems for logging samples.
Work independently to meet set timelines.
Collaborate effectively as a team player with flexibility and adaptability.
Maintain GMP standards and operate within an accredited microbiology laboratory environment.
Communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
Qualifications A third-level qualification in Microbiology or a related field.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a GMP environment.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a QC Microbiology position.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Knowledge of aseptic techniques.
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
