Lucida Search Partners is seeking an experienced VP Technical - Powerplant to oversee key aspects of powerplant operations and provide technical expertise across the business.
Main Responsibilities:- Manage powerplant activities across various aircraft lease agreements.
- Oversee engine shop visits and maintenance reserve claims.
- Provide technical support for aircraft transitions, working closely with Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facilities and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
- Negotiate and manage contracts within the MRO network.
- Stay informed about market and industry updates, keeping the team up-to-date on relevant information.
- Manage spare engine operations and develop innovative solutions for engine optimization.
- You hold an Engineering Honours Degree or equivalent qualification, such as an EASA Part 66 license.
- You have at least five years of experience in a technical role within airlines, OEMs, or leasing companies.
- You possess expertise in at least two major engine types (CFM, GE, IAE, PW, or RR).
- You have a proven track record in negotiating and managing Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) contracts.
- You excel in communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- You are willing to travel extensively as needed.
