Neonatal Neurology Clinical Nurse Specialist / Liaison Nurse (Clinical Nurse Manager 2) Permanent Fulltime (37.5 hours per week) post The Neonatal Neurology Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS)/ Liaison Nurse CNM2 will work under the direction of the Consultant Neonatologist with responsibility for Neonatal Neurology in the hospital.
The Neonatal Neurology CNS/ Liaison Nurse will be a link between the Neonatal Unit and the Disability Services.
Qualifications and Experience: Registered Midwife or Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland 5 years post-registration experience (or an aggregate of 5 years full time post registration experience) of which 2 years must be in the specialty of Neonatal nursing Have a recognized certificate or higher diploma in neonatal intensive care nursing Post graduate qualification at Masters (QQI level 9) or commitment to complete within 2 years Experience in managing babies with neurological problems Skills and Knowledge: Ability to communicate effectively in a multidisciplinary team Demonstrable experience at managing a team and workload Evidence of commitment to ongoing professional development, training and research Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills Counselling skills All informal enquiries in relation to the above should be directed to Ms.
