Our client is seeking a Staff Grade Occupational Therapist to join the Childrens Disability Network Team (CDNT) in Laois.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality, family-centered care to children and young people with complex disabilities.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments and provide tailored interventions to support childrens development and independence.
Work collaboratively with Speech and Language Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Psychologists in a team-based model of care.
Support families and caregivers by offering guidance and strategies to enhance daily living skills.
Develop and implement individualised therapy plans in line with best practices.
Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to service development initiatives.
Requirements: Recognised Occupational Therapy qualification and CORU registration.
Experience working with children and young people with disabilities (placement experience considered).
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
A commitment to providing child- and family-centered care.
