STORES & CUSTOMER SERVICE OPERATIVE Agri Feed & Supplies.
Main Responsibility:- To assist in the daily Operations of Agri & Fuel Stores.
To work as a member of a team to ensure all customers are looked after in a professional manner.
Key Tasks/Responsibilities Yard/Stores Customer Service.
1.
Ensure all customers are served without delay, in a courteous manner and sales dockets properly initialled for security purposes.
2.
Ensure accuracy of goods served to sales docket.
3.
Prioritise customer in store over Goods for delivery and unloading duties.
4.
Prepare goods for delivery to Customer.
Ensure goods are assembled accurately, clearly marked and ready in advance of Trucks departure times.
Stock Management.Assist with monitoring stock levels throughout store on a daily/weekly basis.
Report Stock levels to Store Supervisor/Store manager.
No Stock outs of core lines.
Report old, damaged & perishable stock to Manager.
Inward Suppliers Deliveries.Assist with ensuring all Supplier deliveries are checked thoroughly for accuracy to Suppliers paperwork and saleable condition of goods.
Assist with recording on Suppliers paperwork any discrepancies.
Immediately report to buyer & Store Supervisor.
Sales.In time, to learn sales processes and assist in selling goods at Agri Sales counter.
To develop a broad product knowledge in order to assist customers with appropriate choices.
Health & Safety.
Ensure your store area is maintained to the highest standards of Housekeeping on a daily basis.
Aisles should be swept clean and be kept free of clutter at all times.
Stock should be stacked safely on racks and packaging & strapping should be baled & recycled without delay.
Observe all company safety regulations re: Operation of Forklifts, working at heights and Manual Handling.
Appropriate PPE must be used / worn at all times.
