AWS CloudFront is looking for experienced Software Development Engineers to join our team in beautiful Dublin, Ireland.

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure.

Key job responsibilities
In this role you will be doing hands on coding, helping to build distributed scalable web systems impacting hundreds of AWS customers.
To do this you should have:
Solid understanding of distributed, scalable systemsWeb services design and implementation experienceExperience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customersThorough understanding of Internet protocols such as HTTP, DNS, TCP, and UDP A day in the life

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering teamExperience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalentExperience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
