Consultant Psychiatrist

We are recruiting for a Consultant Psychiatrist for a leading private hospital in Dublin.

This hospital provides a spectrum of neuropsychiatric services to adults with a range of serious and enduring mental health needs, including Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and Huntington's Diseases, as well as individuals with early onset dementia, schizophrenia, and mood disorders.

The hospital also provides specialist palliative care to individuals with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To provide high-quality medical care to patients suffering from various mental health conditions.
  • To manage and lead a team of healthcare professionals in the provision of neuropsychiatric services.
  • To contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Full registration in the Specialist Register (Psychiatrist) of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council in Ireland or entitlement to be so registered.
  • Registered as a general adult psychiatrist with a subspecialized interest in either Psychiatry of Later Life or Neuropsychiatry (desirable).
  • Have a management level or a position of additional responsibility in their clinical area.
What We Offer:
  • Market-leading salary €222,215 to €266,925 depending on experience.
  • Permanent contract.
