European Finance Director – Commercial Leadership Role in a High-Growth, PE-Backed Business Quinn & Associates are partnering with a high-growth, PE-backed organisation to appoint a European Finance Director .
This is a highly strategic and commercially focused leadership role, reporting to the FP&A Director , with responsibility for driving financial performance, shaping business strategy, and supporting expansion across European markets.

The successful candidate will act as a key business partner to commercial and operational leadership , providing financial insights, optimising profitability, and ensuring robust decision-making across multiple geographies.
This role requires a senior finance leader with a strong commercial mindset, deep operational understanding, and the ability to influence at executive level .

Key Responsibilities: Lead financial strategy and commercial decision-making across European operations.
Act as a key business partner to commercial and operational leadership , driving performance and growth.
Develop and implement strategies to optimise profitability, pricing, and cost efficiencies .
Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting , ensuring data-driven decision-making.
Provide strategic financial insights to the FP&A Director, CFO, and senior leadership to support expansion initiatives.
Strengthen financial controls, governance, and risk management to support scalability.
Build and lead a high-performing finance team , fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
Drive process automation and financial transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency.
Candidate Profile: Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA) with 15+ years of experience in senior finance leadership roles.
Proven track record in a PE-backed, high-growth environment , with experience scaling businesses across multiple European markets.
Strong commercial acumen, with experience in pricing, margin optimisation, and operational finance .
Demonstrated ability to influence at executive level and partner with leadership teams.
Experience leading teams , driving high performance and operational excellence.
Expertise in financial modelling, FP&A, and business transformation .
A proactive, strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset.
