The Project Management function manages a BU (Business Unit) project or program to successful outcome.

Focus of role is on execution of a program initiated to deliver a change in the strategic direction of business function activities; expansion of critical business capabilities or implementation of cross business unit regulatory change.Manages implementation of complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and/or ambiguous issues.Displays a balanced, cross-functional perspective, liaising with the business and technology to improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivity.Communication of program objectives; risks; issues and overall status to multiple levels of the organisation including senior stakeholders.Facilitation of cross discipline (business unit) coordination for decision making regarding scope; prioritisation and issue resolution.Implementation and management of the overall governance of the program, chairing meetings at multiple levels of the organisation and producing relevant reporting at all levels.The ideal candidate should have a fair amount of the following: Excellent communication skills; verbal, non-verbal and written.In-depth Functional; Technical and/or Industry Knowledge.Highly flexible and adaptable to change.Leadership and organizational skills are required to determine the Program's goals, structure, budget and resource need.People Management skills to be able to manage all situations, liaise and delegate.Team work skills to drive execution without direct reporting line responsibilities.Independent and proactive self starter.Seasoned expert with program/project management expertise.Technical and/or business knowledge developed through previous industry experience.Experience in managing budgets and forecasting financials.High level of presentation skills to senior stakeholders.Waterfall and agile methodology experience required.Working with Us: As a Northern Trust partner, greater achievements await.
