We are seeking a highly experienced Events General Manager to lead our operations and ensure exceptional service for our guests.
This role is ideal for someone with a background in hotel or corporate events management, with experience in hosting large-scale events and a strong knowledge of food and beverage services.
Key Responsibilities Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of events, accommodating up to 500 guests at a time Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients and event organisers to drive business Manage a dedicated team of up to 50 staff, ensuring efficient and effective event operations Recruit, train, and mentor staff to uphold the highest standards of service and professionalism Ensure all event spaces, including the game areas, bar, and restaurant, are prepared and maintained to meet client expectations Implement standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and quality of service Manage event budgets, track expenditures, and ensure profitability of events Develop pricing strategies and manage profit and loss statements to achieve financial goals Work closely with the culinary team to plan menus that cater to a diverse range of events and client preferences Oversee the quality and presentation of food and beverages served during events Ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for all guests, addressing any issues or feedback promptly Foster a welcoming and engaging atmosphere across all areas of the venue Minimum Requirements Proven experience in event management within the hotel or corporate events industry Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing large teams (up to 50 staff) Extensive knowledge of food and beverage operations Experience in managing events for up to 500 guests at one time Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment If you're interested in this job please apply below or call Alan on
