Bars Manager

The Hoxton is gearing up to open its very first hotel in Ireland in the beautiful capital city of Dublin.
This coastal city is steeped in history, packed with green parks and brought to life through music, art and the best social eating and drinking.
We'll be calling central Dublin home but first we need to pull together a team to help us bring the Hox to this new market.
The Hoxton, Dublin will be home to 129 bedrooms of varying sizes, a lobby bar, historic bar, large ground floor restaurant and lobby restaurant, in addition to another first for us - a nightclub.
The Hoxton is a series of open-house hotels, each in a neighbourhood that we love.
Ever since we opened our first hotel in Shoreditch, we've never just been about offering a bed for the night.
We want to be more than that: proving style doesn't need to be sacrificed for good value and providing a place where guests can hang out alongside the locals and submerse themselves in the neighbourhood with vibrant, welcoming public spaces.
Job Description
What you'll do...
Run a fun and fast paced bar operation day and night.
Be creative, share ideas, develop, and implement our bar strategy – play a part in innovating our bar concept and staying on (and even ahead) of trends.
Know your product and systems inside out.
Lead your team by example, driving service standards that strive for the best for the guest; encouraging your team to grow and develop, the Hox way.
Own your P&L as if it were you own.
Increase sales through your innovative and creative approach and reliable advice.
Qualifications

Previous experience in bar operations role with a background in menu development.
You will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
You love spices/herbal herbs and know how to extract their best flavour.
You have a passion in mixology andhave a creative sense for decoration to add that special touch.
Experience dealing with brands, brand activations and account managers.
Stock management is your thing
Genuine passion for what you do, you inspire those around you and a natural at leading and managing others, you lead by example and create an environment where your team can be their best self.
