Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and finalise financial statements in the financial services/asset management industry
Manage end-to-end statutory and regulatory reporting processes
Resolve complex GAAP/regulatory queries
Build strong relationships with client representatives
Liaise with investment managers, fund accounting team, and auditors
Assist/lead team supervision, performance management, staff development and training
Drive system enhancements and reporting efficiency
Promote FAAS both internally and externally
Skills and Qualifications
Strong experience and knowledge in the financial services/asset management industry either directly or through practice
Experience in a variety of funds types/structures such as mutual funds, UCITs, ICAVs, Private equity, REITs, SPVs is an advantage
ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent IFAC qualification
3-5+ years PQE practical experience of auditing or preparing financial statements
Proficient in IFRS & US GAAP with some knowledge of Irish GAAP and Luxembourg GAAP
Strong understanding of accounting and regulatory requirements related to funds
Strong computer skills – advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
ERP system experience such as Geneva, Investran, Oracle, SAP, Workday – desirable
Excellent attention to detail and ability to resolve issues as they arise
Strong communication and report-writing skills with good Excel ability
Ability to learn quickly and stay updated on industry developments
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Strong project management skills
