We have a new opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join our Water Sector team.
In this role you will work within a dynamic environment, playing a key role in managing multidisciplinary projects, ensuring technical excellence, stakeholder satisfaction, and on-time, on-budget delivery of water related projects and programmes for our key clients.
Stantec are an industry leading consultancy within the Water Sector.
We are involved in a wide variety of projects across the sector including water resources, wastewater networks and treatment, water treatment and supply, flood mitigation and other specialist areas.
Responsibilities
Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex projects at every stage of the project lifecycle.
Build close relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, to cost, and to a high level of quality.
Provide excellent client service as a key expectation of our Project Managers.
Manage a portfolio of water sector projects and proactively identify and mitigate potential risks.
Manage project budgets and resources effectively; may work directly on client teams in a PMO role acting on a project or programme of work.
About You
Minimum 10 years post graduate experience; experience of project management in water, energy or other utility/infrastructure sectors preferred.
Ideally hold an industry recognised project management qualification such as the APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) or similar.
Experience managing multiple deadlines and building successful working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Track record of proactive risk management and mitigation and strong client service orientation.
Demonstrated passion for innovation and client service, with ambitions to contribute to team growth within the sector.
