Role Overview: As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our payments platform infrastructure.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our systems are robust, scalable, and secure.
This position requires a platform engineering mindset and a deep understanding of cloud technologies such as Azure and / or AWS.
Job Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain secure software build and delivery pipelines.
Implement and manage infrastructure as code using tools like Pulumi, Ansible, or similar.
Develop and maintain DevSecOps tools to ensure the security and compliance of our software.
Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployment, and performance.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our platform.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in software engineering.
Strong experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and/or AWS.
Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Pulumi, Terraform, Ansible).
Experience with DevSecOps practices and tools.
Experience with templating tools such as Carvel, Jinja, Helm.
Golang programming experience is a big plus (will consider candidates with strong skills in Java or Python with a demonstrated ability to learn Golang quickly).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail; able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a high-performing team.
