Field Service Maintenance Technician Manufacturing Our clients, a world leader in automated packaging machinery serving a range of industries, are looking to recruit an experienced Field based Maintenance Technicians to join their team on engineers.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an excellent business.
Comprehensive training on the full range of company equipment will be provided.
The Role: You will provide a full range of technical support services to Customers including installation, service, repair, overhaul, upgrade, modification and training.
These customers as based throughout Ireland, so there will be an amount of travel involved, as well as some over-nights.
The Person: Ideally served a recognised Electrical/Mechanical apprenticeship, you will have relevant qualifications A background in the service and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
With a good mechanical aptitude and detailed knowledge of electrical fault-finding You will be able to read electrical and pneumatic drawings, Ideally experienced in, and have knowledge of, packaging machinery (specifically IPC, PC and MC controls and Servo and AC drives).
Experience in Robotic systems or Thermoforming would be a big advantage.
A self-motivated and conscientious individual who is dedicated to delivering a first-class customer service, You will also be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
Flexibility towards working hours is key as you will be required to work occasional weekends, early starts and late finishes.
A full licence is required, as the role comes with an expensed company car.
