Citi Trends is seeking a dedicated Store Sales Associate to join our team at one of the largest chains in the value-priced urban apparel industry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Processing freight
Assisting with price changes and markdowns
Balancing registers according to company policy
Calling out prices for customers during transactions
Bags merchandise efficiently upon completing transactions
Handling cash, checks, and credit cards correctly and per company policy
Obtaining management approval for returns, voids, and checks when needed
Maintaining cleanliness and housekeeping duties as assigned
Providing customer service, including greeting, following fitting room policies, ringing transactions promptly, thanking customers, and inviting them to return
Following all safety procedures
Maintaining a professional, neat appearance, including wearing a name tag
Assisting management with merchandising and stock level management
Supporting management with tasks per company policy
Explaining exchange and refund policies to customers
Assisting Store Manager with Loss Prevention procedures, including preventing shoplifting and cash losses, reporting theft or dishonesty incidents, and following operational policies
Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
