Cheeverstown clinic is a multidisciplinary team of health and social care professionals working in social work, music therapy, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, pharmacy, psychology, speech and language therapy and administration.
We support people with their physical health, psychological health and social support needs.
We offer a primary care type service for adults with intellectual disabilities who use Cheeverstown New Directions and supported living services.
We are now taking applications for the role of Senior Physiotherapist.
Full Time | Monday - Friday | Permanent | South Dublin The Role: The purpose of the role is to support the provision of a high quality, person-centred physiotherapy service to adults supported by Cheeverstown.
The physiotherapy caseload consists of neurological, musculoskeletal, and orthopaedic conditions, as well as 24 hour postural management and orthotic clinics for adults with intellectual and physical disabilities.
The senior physiotherapist supports hydrotherapy programmes and holds a key role in Cheeverstowns falls management programme.
The senior physiotherapist supports and trains staff within both the MDT and the wider Cheeverstown staff team.
Requirements of the role: A diploma or degree in Physiotherapy from a recognised third level institution.
Registration as a Physiotherapist with CORU and maintain CORU registration.
At least 3 years satisfactory post qualification experience, with experience in the disability sector an advantage.
Ability to demonstrate excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills together with up to date knowledge of current thinking and practice in services for people with intellectual disabilities.
Be highly motivated, flexible and committed to working as part of a team.
Have a full drivers licence and own vehicle.

Point on scale will be based on experience and qualifications.
