Senior Sustainability Engineer Location: Dublin or Cork (Hybrid) Salary: €50,000 to €70,000 DOE A leading, award-winning engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior Energy & Sustainability Engineer to join their team in Dublin or Cork.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of sustainability and energy strategies on large-scale residential and commercial projects, helping to deliver low-carbon, high-performance buildings across Ireland.

Send your CV to Charlie Doyle Responsibilities: Lead energy and sustainability strategies across multiple project types Manage project delivery, budgets, and client relationships Coordinate IESVE modelling, SAP assessments, daylight and ventilation analysis Prepare Energy & Sustainability Statements to support planning applications Oversee BREEAM-related assessments (including LZC technologies, comfort, emissions) Complete EPCs for both domestic and commercial buildings Mentor and develop junior team members Represent the company in client meetings, site visits, and technical workshops Support business growth through proposals, interviews, and thought leadership Requirements: Degree (BEng/MEng) in Mechanical, Environmental, Energy, or Sustainability Engineering 5+ years experience in a sustainability-focused engineering role Proficient in IESVE, SAP/SBEM, BREEAM, and Part L compliance Excellent technical reporting and communication skills Strong ability to coordinate teams and manage stakeholders Chartered or actively working towards Chartership (with full support offered) Benefits: Salary: €50,000 to €70,000 DOE Pension scheme Flexible/hybrid working arrangements Time off in lieu 28 days annual leave €750 annual Health & Wellbeing allowance Chartership and Masters support Recognition through internal Engineering Excellence Awards Extra annual leave after 5 years service Clear career progression pathway Annual health screenings Interested?
