Rigid Driver – Permanent, Full-Time
We are currently recruiting for a full-time Rigid Driver based out of Value Centre Clonmel on a Permanent Full-Time basis to work for one of our preferred partners, Newman Logistics.
The driver will be responsible for delivering products to our customers on designated routes.
A core requirement of the role is strong interpersonal skills and the ability to deliver quality service on time.
Acting as a key point of contact with our customers, the driver will be required to have strong interpersonal skills and the initiative to report customer service issues to the business to assist with improving the service we provide.
The duties of the Delivery Driver include but are not limited to:
Delivering products to customers at different locations.
Dealing with clients face to face.
Ensuring all calls on the route sheet are completed.
Interacting with customers and colleagues in a professional and cheerful manner.
Completing customer requests in a professional and timely manner.
Receiving orders in a professional manner.
Reporting maintenance problems to the supervisor.
Keeping the vehicle clean inside and out.
Following all safety regulations and precautions.
Wearing all required and necessary Personal Protective Equipment.
Performing other related work as required.
Requirements
Up to date CPC card.
Full Clean C Licence.
Driver & Tacho Card.
Fluency in both written and spoken English is essential.
Customer service skills.
