Canon Ireland is looking for a talented Senior Field Engineer to join our Production Print team, providing top-notch service and support to our customers in Munster and on occasion Leinster .
This role offers a unique opportunity to work with Inkjet/Toner production print devices, delivering excellence in maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer support.

As a Senior Production Field Engineer, you will
1.
Maintain, Repair & Optimize Production Print Devices
Perform maintenance and repairs on Inkjet/Toner production printers, ensuring all devices run smoothly.
Stay up-to-date on software updates and technical bulletins, keeping devices at peak performance.
Calibrate and profile printers for colour accuracy, optimizing output quality.

Provide Expert Technical Support
Support the team by taking ownership of technical problems and escalations.
Act as liaison between technical specialists and local service team .
Assist service manager in overseeing hardware/software upgrades and complex technical issues.
3.
Work on Major Installations and Projects
Contribute to/lead large installation s , collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure success.
Ensure all work is executed to high standards , meeting customer expectations.
4.
Proactive Customer Engagement
Demonstrate exceptional customer service, building strong relationships and offering proactive support.
Provide training to customers on product usage, maintenance, and advanced applications.
5.
Drive Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities for performance improvement and resolve issues independently.
Ensure all activities are accurately documented in line with Canon guidelines and policies.
What We Ask
Experience & Technical Skills
You have 3 + years of sector experience , servicing Toner, Inkjet, or Wide Format production printers, or other related experience .
Proficient in hardware and software troubleshooting, fault-finding, and device management.
You will need
Customer Focus You are dedicated to providing outstanding service and building long-term customer relationships.
Problem-Solving Expertise You can tackle complex technical problems and develop effective solutions.
Team Player You're comfortable working with a diverse team and contributing to the success of the group.
Communication Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
