Were seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join their data delivery team in Belfast, working on high-impact projects that enhance data quality, accessibility, and insight across the business.
The Role Youll bridge the gap between business needs and technical delivery, gathering and analysing requirements, translating them into actionable specifications, and collaborating with developers, data engineers, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of data-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities Partner with business stakeholders to capture, analyse, and document requirements for data projects Work closely with data engineers and developers to ensure solutions align with requirements and industry best practices Analyse existing datasets, data flows, and processes to identify improvement opportunities Support the design and delivery of data models, reporting solutions, and analytics tools Develop detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria Ensure solutions meet regulatory, compliance, and security standards Participate in data governance and quality initiatives What Youll Bring Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst within financial services or a complex enterprise environment Strong understanding of data management principles, ETL processes, and data modelling concepts Proficiency with SQL for data analysis and validation Familiarity with BI/reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik Ability to work in both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement across technical and non-technical teams Experience in regulatory reporting or data compliance projects (desirable) Why Apply?
