Based in our R&D facility in Ennis, Co. Clare, Ireland, and reporting to the Product Development Engineering Manager, the Associate Electronics Engineer will partake in a number of projects from concept to post-production.
They will be part of a multi-disciplinary project team, working under the co-ordination of a Project Manager.

The role
The Associate Electronics Engineer will have recently graduated and will work in one of our Spirometry project teams, to help drive continuous roadmap delivery.
Spirometry is a common office test used to assess how well your lungs work by measuring how much air you inhale, how much you exhale and how quickly you exhale.
Spirometry is used to diagnose asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and other conditions that affect breathing.
The team
The Spirometry team consists of hardware, mechanical, and software engineers.
The Associate Electronics Engineer will assist the team in finalising development activities within their area of background, namely electronics engineering.
Responsibilities
Developing aspects of the development roadmap.
Ensuring project artefacts such as documentation are delivered at each release point.
Technical evaluation of competitors' equipment.
Assist in the design and development of new products.
Assist in the maintenance of existing products.
People
Operating in the project team in a cooperative, respectful manner.
Maintaining a positive and motivating outlook.
Liaison with ex-house consultants and agencies.
Liaison with R&D, Production, Materials, Quality, Sales, and Marketing staff.
Process
Assisting in the delivery of engineering outcomes.
Ensuring all work and tasks are consistent and compliant with our Quality Management System.
The Ideal Candidate
Hold a 3rd level degree or equivalent in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
Have a strong team ethic.
Ability to perform duties effectively and efficiently.
Ability to complete tasks timely and to a high standard.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to work cooperatively with others.
A strong sense of urgency and ownership.
