As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations.Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas to maintain high hygiene standardsAssist with basic food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen staffOperate dishwashing equipment and ensure all dishes, cutlery, and cookware are properly cleaned and storedManage waste disposal and recycling in accordance with health and safety regulationsReceive and store deliveries, ensuring proper organisation of the storage areasAssist with inventory management and stock rotationSupport the kitchen team during busy periods by performing various ad-hoc tasksMaintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety guidelinesPhysical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy itemsBasic knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and cleaning techniquesUnderstanding of food safety principles and hygiene standardsExcellent time management and organisational skillsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to cleanlinessTeam-oriented mindset with a supportive attitudePrevious experience in a kitchen environment is preferredFood safety certification is desirableAbility to commute to the job location in Cashel, Co.
