Overview
Site Manager role at Kerrigan Mechanical Ltd.
Opportunities in both Dublin and Cork.
Responsibilities
You will work closely with the Contracts Manager and liaise with other members of the construction team to ensure a successful project outcome.
You will take full ownership of progress and successful commissioning and handover.
You shall be responsible for managing the complete installation of all building services, coordinating with other construction activities from specification and procurement through to installation, testing and commissioning in commercial, industrial, educational, hospitality, residential and healthcare buildings.
Ensure quality is maintained through on-site supervision and that Test Certs are submitted.
You will oversee M&E subcontractors on-site to ensure programme and quality expectations are met.
Review the quality of the work and recommend remedial instructions when non-compliance occurs.
Generate and respond to RFIs as appropriate.
Maintain As Built Drawings weekly.
Maintain photographic records and sign off.
Submit As Installed Drawings for drafting.
Submit Valve Tag List for printing prior to handover.
Ensure commissioning certificates are received and reviewed for all equipment.
Ensure handover is notified to the office and recorded on file.
Be responsible for managing direct employees in terms of quality control, adherence to work schedules, and progress reports together with all procedural company documentation.
Be proactive in eliminating issues as they arise.
Plan commissioning programmes and witnessing of same.
Be knowledgeable with specifications, service drawings, architectural and structural details, liaising with design teams, coordinating subcontractor activities to ensure compliance with company standards and programme.
Other ad hoc duties may arise.
Qualifications
Proven experience in site management within the mechanical contracting industry.
Expertise in team leadership, process optimisation, and subcontractor management.
Strong understanding of heating, plumbing and ventilation systems.
