Cpl Healthcare is currently accepting application for
Senior Grade Supervisor
for our established client who provides exceptional care toservice users with
intellectual disabilities– Day services in Kanturk
Our client's main focus is to provide children and adults with disabilities the opportunity to live the life of their choice to their fullest potential.
This exceptional care is delivered in day services.
This role is
Monday to Friday – 35 hours per week
About the role:
QQI Level 5
qualification
in
healthcare or a relevant field
(Full award) is essential
Train the Trainer is essential
Full Manual Drivers license
is essential and access to your own transport is essential.
Fluency in verbal and written English is an essential requirement of this post.
The successful Candidate must have experience of managing and supervising a staff team and be up to date with current policy and legislation relevant to intellectual disability service.
Location may be subject to change depending on business needs and requirements
Essential Qualifications & Requirements:
2-3 years Supervisoryexperiencein a similar environment
, Intellectual Disability sector is preferred
Experience working with people who have complex needs and a diagnosis of ASD
Community based support experience
Ability to develop and implement person centred programmes
Working Knowledge of New Direction and the associated auditing framework
Experience in education, day services is an advantage
Excellent organisation and planning skills
Ability to co-ordinate timetables, activities and plans based on the needs of people we support.
The successful candidate will, on occasion be required to demonstrate flexibility in their hours of work to support people with social events.
