Lilly is currently constructing a Next Generation Biotech Drug Substance Manufacturing Facility in Limerick, Ireland.
This facility will be Lilly's most technically advanced manufacturing site and will include next-generation manufacturing technologies and advanced data collection and analysis platforms that will deliver improvements in safety and quality, and increased productivity and process performance.
Biotech Production Operator
(23-month contract)
As part of the Lilly Production Team, you will be responsible for performing a range of production and operations tasks within a dynamic team, contributing to the manufacturing process and ensuring a consistent supply of high-quality products.

What will you do as a Production Operator at Lilly?
Operate Machinery or Systems
: You'll be responsible for operating various types of machinery, equipment, or computer systems according to established procedures and guidelines.
Adhere to Health & Safety requirements
: Strictly adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Collaborate with Team Members
: Work closely with supervisors, coworkers, cross-functional teams, and other team members to coordinate activities, address challenges, and achieve operational goals.
Communicate a shift handover & ensure any issues are communicated effectively & actioned appropriately.
Follow Procedures
: Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and protocols to ensure consistency, quality, and regulation compliance.
Troubleshoot Issues
: Identify and troubleshoot any issues or malfunctions that arise during operations and highlight them appropriately to the relevant personnel.
Training and Development:
Engage in training sessions and skill development programs to enhance your knowledge and proficiency in operating equipment and systems.
Training of new colleagues on manufacturing processes.
What You Need
Leaving certificate as a minimum or equivalent.
Having a relevant pharmaceutical/biotech industry qualification is desirable.
Be flexible, reliable, and willing to follow the work, undertake various tasks, embrace change, and provide coverage when required.
Able to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
Good communication skills.

Personal Considerations:
The Process Operator role will operate shift patterns such as on a 24/7 basis.
This is a fixed term contract for 23 months.
