Huawei Ireland Research Centre's (IRC) mission is to position Huawei as a recognized technology leader and global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider.
We are building an industry-recognized multi-discipline Research Centre of experts focusing on medium-term to long-term issues to achieve this.
The IRC will work closely with an open innovative ecosystem with Huawei customers to address real-world issues.
The IRC will also engage with key European universities to build a basic research capability to support Huawei technical projects.

About the Job:
As a Computational Ads Bidding Expert, you will apply your machine learning, statistics, and game theory expertise to optimize Huawei Ads' bidding strategies.
You will work on cutting-edge projects, collaborating with global teams to develop and deploy innovative solutions.
Ideal candidates will possess a strong academic and industry background in computational advertising and a passion for solving complex problems.
Responsibility:
Design/implement/evolve the bidding strategy framework for contract/bidding ads considering a sustainable business biddingecosystem
Optimisation of smart bidding and budget allocation/pacing strategies: Maximize advertising exposure under a given budget or cost targets.
Optimisation of advertising campaign performance, including budget fulfilment, cold start deployment, campaign stability, anti-fraud, attribution, etc.
Lead industry research and insight into the state of the art of computational advertising mechanism design and be responsible for the overall technical competitiveness of bidding.
Requirements:
Master/PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, or related fields.
Prior experience in advertising bidding, reinforcement learning, auction mechanism design,game theory is preferred.
Proven experience in research and application of bidding strategy frameworks and billing mechanisms.
Familiar with bidding paradigms and successful application experiences in smart bidding, budget pacing, cold start strategies, campaign stability, anti-fraud, attribution, etc.
Familiar with the latest technologies in bidding mechanisms and algorithms, with a preference for those who have published relevant papers/posters in top journals/conferences/workshops.
Strong technical foresight and staying up-to-date, capable of quickly following and digesting new industry-leading technologies to drive the company's technological advancements.
