The Opportunity
In this role, you will:
Actively partner with clients, responding to their requests accurately and promptly.
Assist in creating cost analysis feedback and lessons learned to the client for future projects.
Assist in the Bid Evaluation process, including analyzing data and identifying areas requiring further investigation.
Be part of a team of cost managers delivering comprehensive cost management services to clients.
Negotiate with contractors to agree on material quantities based on detailed designs.
Assist in preparing and finalizing accounts, including handling claims to ensure the best value for the client.
Prepare budget cost estimates from proof of concept design to detailed design stages.
Resolve commercial, change order, and contract issues efficiently and fairly.
Support the team leader with cost control, estimation, reporting, and forecasting of the MEP scope of work.
We would love to hear from you if you:
Are an experienced cost manager on large-scale construction projects with leadership experience.
Understand M&E systems and have a strong ability to read services drawings and schematics, especially mechanical.
Hold a degree or have comparable experience in mechanical engineering or surveying.
Are chartered or working towards chartership.
