As a Junior Structural Engineer, you will work closely with senior engineers and project teams on a variety of exciting projects.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in structural design, analysis, and site coordination while developing your career in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of structural calculations, reports, and drawings for a range of building and infrastructure projects.
Support senior engineers in the design and detailing of steel, concrete, timber, and masonry structures.
Work with BIM technicians to develop 2D and 3D models.
Conduct site visits and inspections, reporting on progress and quality control.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and other design disciplines.
Ensure compliance with Irish and European codes, standards, and regulations.
Participate in project meetings and contribute to design discussions.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (Level 8 or above) in Civil or Structural Engineering.
0–2 years of post-graduate experience (recent graduates welcome).
Strong understanding of structural engineering principles.
Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., Tekla Tedds, Robot, SCIA, or similar).
Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit is an advantage.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Eagerness to learn and contribute to a team environment.
Eligible to work in Ireland.
Progress toward or interest in chartership (IEI/IStructE).
Internship or co-op experience in a structural engineering setting.
