Engage People is delighted to partner with an international technology company looking to hire a Commercial Finance Lead.Headquartered in Ireland, our client delivers cutting-edge software solutions that help industries reduce waste, improve efficiency, and work towards a more sustainable future.As Commercial Finance Lead, you'll work closely with senior product and engineering leaders to ensure resources are optimally allocated, investment decisions are financially sound, and innovation pipeline delivers both impact and value.This is a high-visibility role where your insights will directly influence product strategy, roadmap prioritisation, and long-term planning.
Responsibilities: Collaborate with R&D leadership to create and implement long-term product-led growth plans with clear ROI metrics.Support investment decisions with data-driven analysis to maximise value and resource efficiency.Analyse product portfolio and performance, including cloud infrastructure and third-party costs.Drive cost efficiencies through strategic negotiations with key vendors (e.g. cloud providers like Microsoft).
Experience: 5+ years in finance, business analysis, or product operations within a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.Experience in a Commercial/Finance Business Partner/ FP&A role Experience partnering with R&D or product teams is highly desirable.Strong financial modelling and data analysis skills, SQL, Excel, and BI tools are key.A collaborative mindset with the ability to influence at senior levels.A mix of short-term urgency and long-term strategic thinking.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product development processes is a plus How to apply:Contact Sinéad Canning on for more information about this position.
