Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments of children's functional abilities and developmental needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address specific goals.
Provide therapeutic interventions to improve motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, speech therapists, and educators.
Educate and support families to promote their involvement in their child's therapy.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to case discussions.
Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in paediatric occupational therapy.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
Current registration with CORU.
Proven experience in paediatric occupational therapy.
Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
All candidates will be required to undergo Garda Vetting.
International Police Clearance (if lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months after the age of 16).
