Accounts Assistant, Charity, South Dublin

On behalf of our client, a well-established and highly regarded charity based in South Dublin, we are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant with a strong focus on Accounts Payable.

Key Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable process, including invoice processing, supplier reconciliations, and payment runs.
Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers to resolve any invoice or payment queries.
Ensure all invoices are correctly coded, authorised, and posted in line with internal controls.
Assist with monthly bank reconciliations.
Maintain the purchase ledger and ensure data integrity across finance systems.
Support month-end procedures and assist with the preparation of reports and audits.
Assist the finance team with general accounting tasks and administrative support as needed.
Key Requirements 3+ years experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance role, with demonstrable focus on Accounts Payable.
Prior experience in the not-for-profit, charity, or public sector is desirable but not essential.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Sage, QuickBooks, or similar) and strong Excel skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills ability to work well with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
