Our client, a trusted provider of community services for adults and children with intellectual disabilities, is hiring a Staff Nurse to join their team in
South/East Dublin
This is a
permanent, full-time role
with attractive rota options.
It is ideal for someone who is passionate about person-centred care and supporting individuals in leading fulfilling lives within their community.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high quality nursing care in line with An Bord Altranais and HIQA standards
Support the physical, emotional, and psychological needs of service users
Create and implement individualised care and support plans
Assist with behaviour support and daily living skills
Encourage community participation and inclusion
Keep accurate care plans, reports, and medication records
Work closely with families, guardians, and external professionals
Role Requirements:
Nursing qualification and current registration with An Bord Altranais
R.N.I.D. qualification desirable
Experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities
Experience in managing behaviours that challenge
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Desirable Attributes:
Flexible and proactive mindset
Ability to create a supportive and therapeutic environment
Experience in planning educational or vocational programmes
Understanding of relevant legislation
