We are on the hunt for a talented Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our esteemed client's team, specialising in enriching social housing projects.

Your Role:
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll play a pivotal role in managing the financial aspects of social housing projects from inception to completion.
Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting cost analysis and providing accurate estimates for materials, labour, and equipment.
Collaborating closely with project managers and stakeholders to ensure budgetary compliance and timely project delivery.
Overseeing procurement activities and negotiating contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
Identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing value engineering strategies.
Monitoring project progress and conducting regular site visits to assess financial performance and address any discrepancies.
Mentoring junior members of the team and providing expert guidance on quantity surveying best practices.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry, with a focus on social housing projects.
Proficiency in industry-standard quantity surveying software and tools.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
Chartered status with a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS) is desirable but not essential.
