Minimum qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in software development.
7 years of experience with full stack development across back-end (Java, Python, Go, or C++ codebases) and front-end experience (JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent).
5 years of experience testing and launching software products.
3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
Preferred qualifications
Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
8 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
5 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
3 years of experience working in a matrixed organization involving cross-functional or cross-business projects.
Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership on high-impact projects.
Influence and coach a distributed team of engineers.
Facilitate alignment and clarity across teams on goals, outcomes, and timelines.
Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large-scale software solutions.

In this role, you will deliver a scalable, reliable, and performant Continuous Delivery (CD) solution that meets the needs of various Google product areas.
You will work with Product Managers and UX leadership to design and implement a roll-outs user experience that is perceived as easy, simple, and well-integrated with the rest of the production platform.
You will also be authoring engineering quality, operational, support, on-duty/on-call standards and expectations as well as working with other roll-outs team leads and Engineering Managers to ensure the standards are met.
